MARVELLOUS ROYAL DOULTON TRIO

in the UNUSUAL "GLAMIS THISTLE" pattern.

It depicts the gorgeous lilac flower that grows near the much-loved late Queen Mother's residence GLAMIS CASTLE in Scotland.

(who could forget THOSE HATS ...& dressed in colours of the thistle :) :)

THE PATTERN WAS FIRST REGISTERED IN 1938, & IS NUMBER H. 4601

It is signed by the artist "P Curnock"

REALLY A SPECIAL FIND!!!

EXCELLENT condition. NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. Gilding still good. There is the odd scuff to the green paint.
