Here on auction we have a very scarce and rarely seen SA Special Forces (Recce) issued/ used 1980's time period original "Niemoller" olive green nylon pattern 80 style small map case with two external storage pockets/ pouches and 2 fold-out clear transparent plastic map-holders (made from a clear pliable transparent plastic) and with 2 external clips allowing for the fitting of a basic shoulder/ sling strap (not included).
Appears to have been retro-fitted with a new zip (COMET brand - period used) at some point - possibly a user repair.
A great and rare piece and the first that I have personally come across - in very good BUT used condition and the plastic map holding sheets are still good and supple (even at the folds no cracks).
This would have formed part of the rarer SA SF "green" pattern 80 (nylon based) webbing kit used in the SWA/ Angola period.
