AQUA BALANCE 1 BY WATERWELL PRO Alkalinity increaser increases TA (Total Alkalinity) and stabilizes pH. This eliminates 'pH bounce', increases sanitiser efficiency and helps prevent corrosion of surfaces and metal fittings. A low TA can also lead to discoloration of surfaces, burning eyes and skin and green water. Also suitable for raising pH in FIBREGLASS and VINYL pools where ideal pH range is 6.8-7.2.
To adjust TA: Ideal range: 80-120mg/litre (ppm). Test monthly with an accurate test kit.
To increase TA: Switch off pump. Add the required measurement to a bucket of water and stir with a plastic or wooden object (not by hand). Add mixture at the deepest part of the pool. Switch pool pump on after approximately an hour.
To adjust pH: Ideal for range: Fibreglass 6.8-7.2; Marblite 7.2-7.6. Test pH weekly with an accurate test kit.
To increase pH: With pump and filter running, add 500g to a bucket of water and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon (not by hand). Pour mixture around the pool and run the pool on the bypass setting located on the MPV on the sand filter and re-test after an hour. Add more ALKALINITY INCREASER if required.
Follow the instructions on the packaging to determine the amount of ALKALINITY INCREASER need in your pool, per ppm measurement.
