Crystal clear optics, generous eye-relief and sensible magnification range all come together to make LX2 3-9x40 a great no-frills all-rounder hunting scope for bushveld hunting down to 30 metres and for moderate range, regular-sized game hunting up to 300 metres (9x brings a 300 metre target to an apparent 33 metres).
Standard off the shelf model is fitted with a duplex reticle but, like most Lynx scopes a variety of reticles are available to be fitted in-house pre- or post-purchase, at a reasonable charge.

Weve kept the monotube and alloy gimbal assembly concepts, improved the anodising to make the finish more resistant to scratches, tightened up the mechanical tolerances and improved the optics.

LX2 models have been manufactured to even tighter tolerance specifications with respect to lens and mechanical component manufacture; they produce brighter, sharper and higher contrast images than LX and P models.
