Scandinavian Pewter and Brass Art Nouveau Necklace

Beautiful antique necklace from the Art Nouveaux period with design of flowers and scrolls typical of the period.

The workmanship on this piece is of an exceptional quality with the back of the necklace equally as attractive as the front. The necklace is decorated with flowers and delicately engraved scrolls. One can truly only appreciate the exquisite detail in this piece from closeup. Sadly this piece is not signed but is typical of pewter work from Scandinavia at the turn of the century.

Considering the age of this necklace it is in a very good condition with no damage to report. The pewter has oxidised as can be expected from pewter. The hand-made chain also sports lovely detail and is in good condition with some age related wear consistent with use. The ring spring clasp is in good working condition.

It measures approximately 44 cm from end-to-end. The pendant feature measures about 16cm X 6cm.
