An EXCELLENT example of a WW1 British 'Dead Man's Penny ' Bronze Memorial Plaque. This piece appears to be in a GOOD state , with Recipient Name legible & mild surface toning. The Inventory Number of : 7  , is present behind the lion's rear leg. Minimal Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. The Numbered series - were produced between 1919 and 1920.

The Memorial Plaques were issued to acknowledge the sacrifice of all British & Commonwealth Combatants. 


The ideal addition to any World War I , Memorial Medallion collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
