Z.A.R. Circa 1895 Tie Pin with Paul Kruger Medal

From the Z.A. Republic, a Tie Pin with a Medal of Paul Kruger.

The medal is yellow bronze with diameter 16.7 mm. It was made in Germany and imported into the Z.A.R. where it was made into patriotic jewellery by soldering on attachments. The attachments usually break off; so it is unusual to find one of these intact.
