When he is quiet, then give him your attention. * Only give a signal or command once. If you repeat cues over and over, you are teaching your dog to sit, for example, on the fourth time you say the word. * Remember that you can only correct a dog effectively within two seconds of the wrong behavior. Otherwise he will have no idea what you are correcting him for. * If your puppy can???t get the hang of peeing outside, break the habit by teaching him that he only gets the fun of a walk after he has eliminated.
