I love these delicate little cups and saucers come from the “Sunshine”range produced by the Meakin Brothers; being a great believer in reinvention, I would use them for serving small servings of rich mousse at a dinner party, or making mini cheesecakes (you can hide any disasters!). The cups and saucers are all in good condition with no chips. Although the saucers do not have the same “SOL” markings as the sugar bowl and coffee pot we have on offer, they are a perfect match and I would guess they are from the same era. The “SOL” marking was registered by the Meakin brothers in 1912 and they stopped using it in 1969, so these cups must be at least 44 years old. Hand wash only.
