The pattern features a genuine hand engraving of Windsor Castle, the principal residence of the English sovereigns since Wiliam the Conqueror.
The "England" mark indicates production began after 1890. The inclusion of the "SOL" trade name, registered in 1912, helps narrow the production timeframe from the specific mark.
Material - English Ironstone.
The Backstamp indicates "REGP SOL 391413, J.&G. Meakin England, on A GENUINE HAND ENGRAVING PERMANENT DECORATION.
The pattern is Brown/Sepia tone and was used after 1890.
