On offer this incredibly well painted Oil by artist J von Geems, signed in the lower left corner. Painted on Canvas that has been laid on board, it depicts a sea scene. I am not familiar with this artist but visibly highly skilled and an accomplished artist. It is framed in an ornately molded frame, please note the damage on the frame where pieces of the moldings have chipped off. It measures 73x56cm (with frame) and 59x42cm (painting only). This painting is old, it has a few fly spots but still in remarkably good condition for it's age. Titled Verso: "Orange Rocks, S/Coast, Natal".
