This JACK DANIELS tin is I believe from the 1970-1980's. It measures 24x18cm and is 6cm in depth. The tin has a latch type of mechanism on the side of the tin to secure the lid. On the front of the tin is "Rich Mellow", "Hand Made", "Made with our own spring water" "Old No. 7" with a photo of Jack Daniels without his hat and "Old Time Tennessee Whiskey". Stamped at the back of the tin is "Hudson-Scott & Sons ltd, Carlisle, England Manufacturers of tin boxes since 1886". Inside the lid of the tin is a a copy of a letter from the Jack Daniels Distillery and dated 6 October 1906 headed "Why I box my goods in tins". The sides of the tin also have writing on them. This is a very collectible tin!! Postage will be R25.00
