Born in Le Havre in 1946, Jacques Bosser now resides near Paris, drawing inspiration from his global travels. In 1988, he worked in Los Angeles, and during stays in India (1992, 1994), he photographed temple travelers, influencing his subsequent paintings. This marked a shift in his approach to photography, treating it as a canvas in his studio, layered with colors.

Extensive travels in Africa in 1996 rekindled childhood sensations from Equatorial Africa (ages 3 to 12). Further journeys to Japan (1997) and recent visits to Korea and Taiwan expanded his artistic perspective. Jacques Bosser's art reflects a fusion of cultures and experiences, creating a globally resonant body of work.
