Jalapeno Seeds

The jalapeño is a medium-sized chili pepper pod type cultivar of the species Capsicum annuum.

A mature jalapeño chili is 5—10 cm (2—4 in) long and hangs down with a round, firm, smooth flesh of 25—38 mm (1—1 2 in) wide. It can have a range of pungency, with Scoville heat units of 3,500 to 8,000.

All seeds are tested and grown on our farm in Malawi and our growing area in South Africa. Please check conditions in your area for the type of seed to be grown. Growth rates and germination times are dependent on many factors such as soil conditions, rainfall/watering patterns, climate, and many more.
