Synopsis

After an international terrorist is suspected of murdering oil magnate Sir Robert King, Bond is drafted in to protect his daughter, Elektra. With Dr Christmas Jones as his attractive accomplice, 007 unearths a plot to destroy a major oil pipeline with potentially disastrous results for the world economy.

The BMW Z8 sportscar delivered by Q Branch has a few unique modifications to help Bond keep one step ahead. As well as being started and driven by remote control concealed within the ignition key, its armed with stinger missiles behind the air vents and a missile defence system. It comes as no surprise when the Z8 saves Bond's life as he battles against two helicopters armed with giant buzz saws.
