This is a charming and very well-executed painting of one of the most beautiful parts of London, St. James Park. There is small yacht on the lake in the background. Big Ben clock tower and the Foreign Office buildings are in the far background.. Beautifully painted impressionist watercolour. Genuine vintage piece by listed artist.

Snell was a London-born landscape painter.  He studied at Heatherleys and in Paris and Amsterdam, and was based for most of his career in London.  He was a prolific artist, exhibiting 45 times at the Royal Academy, 47 times at the RBA, where he was made a member in 1890, and 118 times at ROI, where he was made a member in 1909
