The recipes are well thought out, simple to read and easy to follow. The photography is glossy and decadent. The recipes even sound edible. Apple and Thyme Tarte Tatin is as delightful to say as it is to taste. I loved the sight and sound of the Spiced Plum Crumble before I baked it. The smell, taste and texture was sublime.
Dozens of fabulous visual treats will make you want to bake. The devoted gastronome will not be able to stop his stomach rumbling. With recipes from a simple Swiss roll to the fanciful Petit Mont Blancs, this book offers a cake, a pudding and a desert for everyone.
