Hardcover South African edition, first published 1952 by Cassell & Company. The jacket is worn, tatty, torn, and foxed on the reverse. The edges of the boards have been badly attacked by insects, and the spine is cocked. The name of a previous owner is written in pen on the first end-paper, and the first and last few pages are foxed. Though generally aged, the rest of the pages are clean and unmarked.
