Jan Smuts Bible with the New Testament, given to the troops in 1943.

It has a beautiful Olive wood cover, that is etched. It has a message from King George VI on first page and then a handwritten message by Jan Smuts to the men going to war. It is signed by both himself and his wife, Isie.

The book has a lot of age spots, which are worst on front and back pages. It also has a piece torn out on the last page.

The cover is superb and the spine is intact.
