This auction is for an original 1943-44 edition of Jane's All the World's Aircraft - which was compiled this year by Sampson Low and edited by C.G. Grey. Universally acknowledged as the world's standard reference for all things aviation in any given year - it is loaded with rare period photos, engineering drawings and lengthy specifications for every known aircraft (including airships) manufactured that year in every single country in the world. A separate section covers all the aircraft engines and engine manufactures in similar detail. This "real time" time capsule history is the cornerstone reference of every serious aviation library.
