Japanese Teapot and Cup in Padded Basket

On offer this delightful and rarely seen Japanese Teapot and Cup in a padded Basket with metal trimmings. In wonderful condition, no damage to the basket and the teapot with wicker handle and teapot and cup free of any chips or cracks. Beautifully made with cotton interior in lovely matching patterns. The padding in the basket is hard and sturdy, holding the teapot firm to prevent any movement whilst travelling and providing insulation to keep the contents hot. The padding is attached to the basket. The basket stands 20cm high, and the top measures 28x21.5cm, the teapot stands 15cm high and the cup stands 5cm high. No markings on the teapot or cup.
