FORMED FROM WOOD, LACQUER IS APPLIED TO SEAL AND PROTECT, DESIGN IS THEN ETCHED INTO THE SURFACE OF THE LACQUER AND THE SPACE FILLED WITH GOLD OR SILVER POWDER. THREE COATS OF LACQUER IS THEN APPLIED OF WHICH THE TOP COAT IS CLEAR TO ENHANCE THE DESIGN.

THE SET CONSISTS OF A LIDDED BOX AND 6 X COASTERS. IT IS IN A NEAR MINT CONDITION.

CRANE BIRDS ARE ADORNING THIS SET. IT IS PITCH BLACK WITH SILVER AND GOLD POWDER DESIGNS.
