Very Pretty IMARI STYLE, IMPRESS, Round Porcelain Jewelry Box or Trinket Box by TAKAHASHI Trading Corp, San Francisco, California. It was crafted and hand-decorated in Japan and imported to the USA in 1987.
The Design is very Ornate, with Red, Blue, Green, and Gold Colors, a very Classic Imari Style of Porcelain Decoration. The stamp in the Gold reads "EMPRESS 1987 TAKAHASHI SAN FRANCISCO, HAND DECORATED", and a Takahashi sticker is attached.
The Takahashi Trading Corp was founded after WWII by Henri Hiroyuki Takahashi, and this Jewelry Box is one of their Fine Japanese Porcelain imports.
This Little Treasure is in excellent condition, just like new; there is no damage of any kind, and the colors of its decoration are still vibrant and bold.
