I think this may have been a corporate gift to a valued customer of the NAN TAI shipping company. (They have offices in Durban)

I am not sure of the composition of this item - to me it feels like a resin.

It is a very impressive item - really pleasing!

Being a used item it has a few tiny knocks - one of the lions has a scrape to the tail and the base has a few tiny nicks as shown in the picture.

The inside of  the box is flat - has space for an ink pad.

Dimensions: 9cm in diameter. Height 6cm. Height of lions 3cm.
