Japanese Occupation of the Phillipines- 1942- 1Peso Note-see description

Therse notes and their owners endured much suffering during World War 2.Up for bid is a Japanese Government Phillipines Occupation War Note for One Peso, stamped "The Japanese War Notes Claimants Association of the Phillipines, Received for Safekeeping".  There is also a signature at the center of the stamp.  Thanks to the ebayer who provided the following information; the Japanese War Notes Claimants Association of the Phillipines was an organization that was formed in the 1950's to try and compel the Japanese government to reimburse them for the occupation notes.  The organization lost in both the Japanese and United States courts.   See photo for further details.
