Japanese porcelain octagonal "Imari" 4 plates. Floral and birds. Please see description on each!!

Interesting history that many are not aware off!!

Genuine Imperial Imari ware originates from Japan, specifically the Arita Region, and was exported through the port of Imari, hence the name "IMARI"

PLATE NR 1: 

Genuine Imperial Imari.  Vintage, hand painted with a scalloped edge and a central motif of birds and flowers, surrounded by intricate blue and gold patters. Octagonal. The original sticker at the top of the plate "GENUINE IMPERIAL IMARI" The mark at the back indicates that the original manufacturer is from "OTAGIRI"

The plate measures 19cm x 19cm.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a slight fading of the gilding around the edge. Remarkable 3-dimensional feel on the plate.

PLATE NR 2: 

Genuine Imperial Imari. Japanese porcelain Octagonal shaped plate Hummingbirds Floral Green Gold edge. It features a delightful & charming scene with a pair of cure Hummingbirds & floral motif in the centre with green coloured & overlay border and intricate gilding. The colours are vibrant, fresh & crisp.

This lovely plate is unmarked and comes in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, breaks or restoration. The gilding in pristine condition.

The plate measures 18cm x 18cm.

PLATE NR 3:  

Genuine Imperial Imari. Distinctive Imari aesthetic with its detailed depiction of ducks/birds and blossoms. The original sticker at the top of the plate "GENUINE IMPERIAL IMARI" It features a delightful scene with ducks and floral motifs in the centre with a vibrant black border covered in flowers.

The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and the gilding in pristine condition.

The plate measures 18.4cm x 18.4cm.

PLATE NR 4:

Vintage octagonal porcelain plate, ducks on the pond made in Japan mark at the back. Gray decorative plate.
