Japanese Satsuma stoneware charger probably made during the Meiji era ( 1868- 1912 ) depicting Samurai Warrior in the Moriage style with raised enamel and gold detailing .Fully marked on the base with a very interesting four character mark on the bottom left of the warriors face . The name of the potter is Rin An Zou together with the words Dai Nippon . No major damage except for a very small chip on the left hand rim . Dimensions - 31.7cm x 4.5cm 1.3kg
