Jasperware Cobalt Blue Dip Tea Barrel Biscuit Jar c: 1891 -  Silverplate Marked Cover and handle.

Decorated with White applied classical dancing hours.

In good condition with no chips or restoration. One minor crack/deep scratch underneath but it is about 1mm deep - more of a surface issue. Has a few firing cracks in the white applied parts along with some discoloration in the blue cobalt. The silver plate is tarnished and has a few scratches and a little silver loss - please see photos.

Underneath it appears to have been very well scrubbed with an abrasive materiel however, you can just make out two or three marks/ letters, one possibly a J.

Otherwise a stunning piece of antique pottery and a lucky find for anyone who snaps it up!
