Jescast Kit - Used to Make Mould Castings (Jesmonite Equivalent)

Jescast Kit Used to Make Mould Castings (Jesmonite Equivalent) Blend of mineral powders forming a very hard solid product in about thirty minutes.

Instructions:

1 part liquid to 2 parts powder (by volume, not weight - eg 1 cup liquid to 2 cups powder)

1. Weigh the required amount of both parts into separate containers
2. Empty the liquid into a mixing bowl
3. Add approx 2/3 of the powder into the liquid and stir thoroughly, then add the remaining 1/3 and continue stirring
4. Keep mixing until a creamy and flow-able consistency is reached, without visible bubbles left in the mixture
5. Add pigment if required
6. Por mixture into your mould and tap the mould lightly to flatten the surface
7. Its important to leave your mould in one place and not move it around during curing
8. Curing time is approx 30-60 mins - At this stage it is not fully set so be careful when demoulding
9. Curing takes 7 days total

• Jescast is not water resistant so sealing is required if you want to use it for candles or any area where it will come into contact with liquid
• A sealer can also be applied for a glossy finish and addition protection - after the curing has completed
• The compound is safe and non-toxic
