The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story, 1958-2009 is the third revision of the King of Pop biography written by journalist and author J. Randy Taraborrelli. The first edition of the book was published way back in 1991 and the title was simply Michael Jackson. To accommodate the post-1991 phenomenal events, rumors, scandals, and trials that went around Jackson, updated versions of the biography were published in 2003, 2004, and finally in 2009, in which “The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story, 1958-2009” was added into the title.

This book is probably the most decent Michael Jackson biography that is accomplished within Michael Jackson’s lifetime and the author Taraborrelli himself is one of the most reputable biographers who happened to be a friend of Michael—they met when they were still teenagers and since then they had always been friends—and the rest of the Jackson family. Despite the criticisms it got for its “indistinct” sources (magazines, tabloids, etc.) and nondescript style of narration, many people—both MJ fans and the more general readers—still consider it an admirable book about the extraordinarily fascinating life of the most important and famous legend in pop music.

Kurt Cobain, with his band Nirvana, is possibly one of the most influential musicians in the last two decades. His fame and stardom rocketed to the highest as grunge and alternative music found their golden era in the 90's.

As any other genius in music, he had problems too. A lot of problems. Be it with his family, his own existence, and above all problems with drugs.
