JOHANN BONTHUYS:
Johann Bonthuys is a famous South African painter who was born in the 20th Century (some online sources indicate 1968). The artist's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 45 USD to 643 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. He is known for his seascape paintings with some references noting his love of the Steenbras area near Gordons Bay in the Western Cape. I dont know if he is still alive but he should be my age (55) now.
