A rare hand signed original 1952 photograph of Mimi Tretchikoff ( daughter of Vladimir Tretchikoff ) and Siamese Cat , hand signed by John Adriaan (1921-2014)  and inscribed and dated by subject.

A rare hand signed original real photograph, 17.5 cm by 12.5 cm ( 7 x 5 inches ), mounted on a card 25 cm by 21 cm and enclosed in an original folder. The card has a hand signature by John Adriaan bottom right of the mount with his stamp on the back. And on bottom left of the mount a neat hand signed and dated inscription:" To Mrs. Roscoe with love from Mimi. Cape Town. 1952". Mimi Tretchikoff ( later Mimi Mercurio ) was the only child of artist Vladimir Tretchikoff, born in 1938. Mrs. Peggy Roscoe was a family friend and patron, who owned the original oil painting Crawfish Seller by Tretchikoff. Very good condition but with some creasing. Seller Inventory # 80223
