Rare & Collectible - Original Platinum Label Presentation

This is not the current rebranded version. This is the original discontinued Platinum Label bottling, produced between 20132017. The Platinum Label name was discontinued in mid-2017 and replaced by the rebranded Johnnie Walker Aged 18 Years. Bottles still bearing the original Platinum Label name are increasingly sought after by collectors as the older presentation phases out at retail.

The Bottle:

Sealed and unopened in the iconic angled Johnnie Walker bottle, presented in the original premium platinum-silver gift box. Originally only available in the Asian travel retail market before wider release - making this an especially collectible find.

The Whisky:

Crafted from a blend of whiskies aged a minimum of 18 years, sourced from 2025 different distilleries across Scotland. Sitting one step below Blue Label, it is the most accessible aged expression for those seeking the depth that 18 years brings.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich and velvety caramel, followed by a vanilla burst reminiscent of country fudge, finishing with the classic Johnnie Walker pinch of smoke.

Palate: Rich spiced notes with plum pudding, stewed rhubarb, cherry compote and aromatic cedar woodsmoke superbly balanced, with baked oranges, caramel shortcake and orange sherbet.

Finish: Soft, slow and lightly smoky, with lingering malt notes and a hint of pipe tobacco.
