This silver bar has been produced by the Johnson Matthey refinery, a group still universally renowned for their quality products 200 years after their establishment. 

Struck in 999 silver fineness, the bar contains one troy ounce of pure silver, from LBMA approved refinery, Johnson Matthey. 

 
Johnson Matthey is a London-based chemicals and precious metals company. It once operated a private minting operation producing gold and silver bullion, but in 2015 it sold its precious metals refining division to Asahi Holdings, Inc.
Johnson Matthey stopped producing all smaller sized gold and silver bullion bars in the year 2000. The company was the largest manufacturer of minted bars in North America, for nearly 30years (1971-2000).
Though slightly more expensive than other silver bars in their weight class, the 1 oz Johnson Matthey Silver Bars, like other Johnson Matthey products, retain their value even at this higher premium because of the prestige of the mint and the world-class quality of its offerings.
