Jona Willem te Water, Levens-berigt van Jona Willem te Water, Te Leyden overladen den 19 October des Jaars 1822, Door Hem Zelven vervaardigd en, Op zijn uitdrukkelijken last, bij Uitersten Wil, zonder eenige veranderingen en bijvoegselen, zelfs zonder NADERE Voorrede of Aanteekeningen van Anderen, door DESZELFS ERFGENAMEN woordelijk gevolgd en in het licht gegeven. Demy octavo, nineteenth-century quarter-binding, gilt lettered, patterned endpapers, xvi + 400 pages, all edges gilt.

Significant wear to the binding (see images), minor foxing, some browning, particularly where newspaper clippings were inserted between leaves. These have now been removed. One or two short marginal tears, not affecting legibility. In fair, serviceable condition.

I can find no copy of this title currently offered for sale on the Internet.

I have collated the book against a digital copy on the Internet Archive. Like this copy, that one opens to the title-page. The book appears therefore to have been issued without half-title.
This is the posthumously published autobiography of Jona Willem te Water (17401822), who was a professor at Leiden University. He was a man of influence in the Dutch Reformed Church, in many learned societies, in academic theology, and in Dutch historiography. (entry for Jona Willem te Water in Wikipedia)
It is unclear what relationship (if any) the autobiographer had to the prominent Graaff-Reinet family of that name.
