MINT - New CDVD has no scratches.
NM and EXￂﾬ￢ﾀﾠ - DVDￂﾬ￢ﾀﾠ has no scratches barely played. EX may have a light fingerprint or mark that can be removed

VG - DVD has a bit more scratches than VG+ but also not affecting play.

With most DVD drives, you can change the region settings to play a DVD with a different region code. But you can change it for only a limited number of times (usually 5) before the region setting becomes locked permanently. Please note, your warranty and guarantee will expire if this is done [at buyer's risk]
