The problem with rechargeable spotlights is if you want a nice bright light then you are not going to have a long runtime, or you need a massive battery. We can now offer a rechargeable LED spotlight which gives the best of both worlds. The LED gives off 1.2 million candle power and has a runtime of 10 hours at full brightness and then another 5 hours or so of useful light. Basically this will last you the whole night, so whether you are staking out a waterhole to see what comes in or you are on a search and rescue mission you now don't have to be careful of running the battery flat. Also, it won't run as hot as a regular halogen spotlight.

And now for the best part - it has a built-in solar panel so it can recharge from the sun. Apart from the obvious benefit of not needing to burn carbon to recharge it this also means you can keep it handy and it will remain charged. It takes the panel about 30 hours to fully charge from flat, so you may need to use the AC or DC charger if you can't wait the 30 hours.
