Despite some initial delay in making contact to confirm the deal (turns out the seller was travelling) the purchase went off smoothly and efficiently. We would certainly do this again.
despite our "buy now" offer being accepted as as winning bid the seller later contacted us and informed us that the unit had previously been sold and was in fact not available. (He had been unable to remove it from the auction listing). Very disappointing, but at least the seller was upfront and immediately got in touch to explain the situation.
I did explain to you on the phone that this is the first time I advertised any thing on BID or BUY. When my items got sold I tried but was unable to remove it from the auction. I phoned BID or BUY offices, the receptionist (Tasneem)was unable to assist and no one else was available. Hope you know and are able to tell me how to remove an item advertised.
