On offer is this valuable and beautiful Watercolour Painting "All Pegged Out" by internationally renowned artist, Julia Rowntree.  The painting is in one of Rowntree's favourite themes of washing on lines. The painting is framed behind glass, in a superior quality frame and double mounting and the painting, frame and mounting all in excellent condition. The painting measures 56x52cm (with frame) 27x24cm (painting only).  At the back of the painting is a label of a gallery in Dalles Texas with stock number (see pic below). A very happy piece in vibrant colours and shapes makes for a stunning painting, sure to attract lots of favourable attention.

Rowntree trained as an illustrator at Camberwell School of Art and Crafts and has exhibited in UK and Dallas USA. Rowntree specialises in watercolours, and is mainly known for her floral still life, but is now persuing a variety of themes. Her painting is stimulated by light, shape and shadow which is why her subjects have very strong forms, such as chairs, beach huts and washing hanging on lines. She has been accepted several times in the open shows at the Royal Watercolour Society and Royal Institute of Watercolours and has had many exhibitions in Kent, London and Dallas, Texas.

Rowntree has taught art to adult students, written various books, one of them titled: "The Watercolour Flower Painter's Handbook", has illustrated various books, stationery as well as educational posters.
