You can use them to create strips for carrots, cucumbers, potato (matchstick chips, hash browns, rosti), sweet potato, parsnip, apple, firm pear and kiwi, chilli, ginger, garlic, etc. Create salads, stir-fries etc. All you need to do is give a little dig into your fruit or vegetable (for example a carrot or as in the picture a cucumber) and with even pressure slide the full length. An excellent slicer . You will do a better job than any expensive machine.
