Jumping Waves Swimming Dolphins Brass Figurine

ON AUCTION IS A BEAUTIFUL BRASS FIGURINE OF TWO SWIMMING AND JUMPING DOLPINS.

DOLPHINS ARE SOME OF THE MOST INTUITIVE, INTERESTING AND BELOVED CREATURES ON EARTH.
DOLPHINS CALL TO ONE ANOTHER BY UNIQUE NAMES LIKE HUMANS. Dolphins create and assign unique whistles and clicks to fellow members of the pod. Research also shows they can amazingly remember names for over 20 years.
DOLPHINS PROVE TO BE SIMILAR TO HUMANS IN MANY WAYS. Dolphins have larger brains than humans although teir brain to body weight ratio are lower. They have a complex and advanced neocortex, the part of the brain responsible for self-awareness, problem-solving. Dolphins have been found to have neurons identical to humans and great apes which are responsible for emotional and social cognition.
INTERESTINGLY THE KILLER WHALE ALSO KNOWN AS THE ORCA IS ALSO A DOLPHIN. Contrary to its nickname, this species isnt a whale at all. In fact, the name is said to have originated from ancient sailors who witnessed orcas hunting larger whales.
