NB. This is a fabulous 100% natural amethyst (not lab created/hydrothermal) .    

 The gem is a good Royal Purple in daylight (even a bit darker than the top right picture) and has some Magenta colour change as per the other 2 pictures under incandescent light (most indoor lighting) . 

This gem is classed as VVS1.  The cut is excellent and there is no damage such as chips, abrasion marks etc even inder 10 x magnification.  The pavilion (back facets) are Portuguese cut (lots of small facets) which always bring extra fire to the table and face is checkerboard cut which adds extra class to the gem.
