As with most gems the value increases exponentially with each increasing Carat. This Bi-colour Amethyst weighs an impressive 22.10 Ct.
The gem has been master Octogon Cut. This Bi -colour Amethyst gives the deep intense purple colour and magestic fire that only larger gems can generally give and it will make a Hi-end STUNNING piece of jewelery. It also changes from purple to an exquisite magenta colour under incandescent night light. This colour is only hinted at in the top left picture in the reflection below left. In the hand it is much more intense and eye pleasing. It is classed as rare.
This gem is classed as VVS1. Under 10 x magnification there is no damage to any of the facets such as abrasion, chips etc. As a collectors item, a gem to make an awesome piece of jewelry for resale, or as an item for yourself or a loved one to wear - this gem will be appreciated and appreciate in value!
