This Citrine is master cut and polished to professional perfection - under a 10 x jewelers loupe there is one VS chip on a pavillion (back facet) edge. You will just be able to see it from the back of the gem with the naked eye but it is not visible at all from the Table. It is classed as VVS and is a SPECTACULAR Hi-end Fiery Rich Red Orange throughout.
Trilliant cut is generally acknowledged to be the cut that brings the best fire and luster to the Table. This gem has a deep pavillion which also allows more light to reflect to the Table. This size of gem gives an intensity of hot red/orange fire that only larger gems can give.
