Up for auction is 3 lots (4 piece each 2.4mm) of Jet Black Diamonds. They are well cut and the actual gems are much better than the photos - Guarenteed.
Black diamonds are amongst the hottest new fashion in jewerly design as they look great coupled with white diamonds or any of the coloured gemstones such as rubies, sapphires or emeralds. They also look stunning set in either gold or platinum. Black diamonds have all the properties of white diamond but take 2 - 5 times longer to cut.
Under a 10 x loupe the gems have a Brilliant Jet Black luster with no damage and all are eye clean.
Most Jewelers will verbally confirm they are black diamonds but a Laboritory Certificate can only be done in South Africa in the EGL lab in Johannesburg. The cost would be around R500 plus.
