The diamond is well cut/polished. Under 10 x magnification you will not see any damage to any of the facets. It is classed as Deep Ocean blue, clarity I.
The diamond comes with a certificate of authenticity from an independant GIA qualified gemmologist and manufacturing jeweler with over 40 years experience in the trade. This certificate authenticates the gem as a natural diamond (treated by irradiation). It is laminated and has the full details of the gemmologist should you have any queries. It is NOT an appraisal certificate (i.e it does not state a retail or insurance value). If the winning bidder would like me to organise an appraisal certificate I can do so for R200.
