A brilliant 4.6mm Ocean Blue Diamond solitaire
The diamond is well cut/polished. Under 10 x magnification you will see a VS chip on the girdle - you can see it in the picture at about 4-O'clock. Remember these pictures are highly magnified and you really need a jewelers loupe to see it. Being on the girdle it is also easily hidden in a setting. It is classed as AA++ Ocean blue with good SI1 clarity (eye clean). It is MUCH better than the pictures, especially in good sunlight or incandescent light - a much more intense/brighter blue.
The diamond comes with a certificate of authenticity from an independant GIA qualified gemmologist and manufacturing jeweler with over 40 years experience in the trade. This certificate authenticates the gem as a natural diamond (treated by irradiation). It is laminated and has the full details of the gemmologist should you have any queries. It is NOT an appraisal certificate (i.e it does not state a retail or insurance value). If the winning bidder would like me to organise an appraisal certificate I can do so for R200.
