The diamond has an excellent cut/polish. There is a VS chip on the girdle which you can see in this highly magnified picture. It is classed as SI1 (Eye clean - the chip is really only visible with a 10 x loupe. Even if you know where to look you will not see it with the naked eye. This is partly because the brilliant dazzling fire of this gem.)
It comes with a certificate of authenticity from an independant GIA certified manufacturing jeweler with over 40 years experience in the trade. The certificate is NOT an appraisal - i.e no retail/insurance value is stated - only that it is a natural diamond with the details as given. The certificate is laminated and has the gemmologist's contact details if you are the winner and have any questions. I can organise a full appraisal certificate for R200.
