A Brilliant Champaigne diamond that will change colour to Golden Orange under incandescent light. Although the caption says "torchlight, it turns this colour under my desk lamp (small bedside halogen). It is a natural (ie real and not lab created) diamond and has not been treated in any way.
The diamond has been well cut and polished. There no visible damage to any of the facets under a 10 x loupe. It is classified as Light Fancy Brown in colour and SI2 in clarity.(90% eye clean - the crystal plane between 1 and 3 0"clock in the pictures can just be seen in certain light angles but it is does not distract from the overall fire/beauty of the gem).
It comes with a certificate of authenticity from an independant GIA certified manufacturing jeweler with over 40 years experience in the trade. The certificate is NOT an appraisal - i.e no retail/insurance value is stated - only that it is a natural diamond with the details as given. The certificate is laminated and has the gemmologist's contact details if you are the winner and have any questions. I can organise a full appraisal certificate for R200.
