Danburite is not well known nor is it common on the market but it is growing in popularity as a quality gemstone. Under a 10 x loupe the gem is crystal clear. (In some lighting angles a feint pink hue can be seen).
The gem is classed as VVS and it is Much better than the pictures have captured. With a hardness of 7 to 7.5, it is ideal for jewlery and it will make a very brilliant, glittering center piece.
